February 20th : Garage Sale to benefit Saint Vincent De Paul in Sanford (we need many volunteers for this event, you need not work all day-even a few hours would be so appreciated) 8am-1pm Location of the sale is: 2504 Oak Avenue Sanford, FL 32771 (off 25th Street- three blocks east of 17-92)
February 21st: Dog Day in the Park Event (Wekiva Hills Park) 1pm- 4pm

Attire at our Bags of Hope Central Florida Events: BOHCFL shirt or white shirt, blue bottom (jeans are fine) and comfortable shoes, and most important- SMILE!

NOTE: If you feel called to come out with us for a distribution to the homeless camps, please let us know so that we may put you on the waiting list for these. We are limited to 2 volunteers each distribution, but we would love to have you come along if this is something that you feel you would like to do. Please note: these distributions may require physical endurance, hiking back to camps, going through the woods, through vegetation, encountering homeless pets, etc. If you have any physical limitations or conditions (asthma, allergies, etc) you may not want to volunteer for a distribution.
There are many other ways to support the Bags of Hope Central Florida that do not require so much physical endurance. Assemblies and other events are other great opportunities to do the hands on service and still support the effort. Everything that each of you has done and or will do, for Example: praying for the homeless/ outreach, donating items, helping at events, telling friends about the outreach, all of these things- together with the power of God- come together to make Bags of Hope Central Florida all that it is!
